From Denise Boyd: "Church friends, I need your help! If you are going to be at the Maundy Thursday service tonight, I would like to set up tables in the Fellowship Hall for Saturday after service. I appreciate any help you can give! Also, I will be at church TOMORROW morning, at 10:00 am to set up the craft area, picture area, and dress the tables for Saturday. I could really use some help with that, as well. If you have an hour you can give me, tonight or tomorrow, please let me know, or just show up!! THANK YOU!!!!!" Sharing from a friend, a Holy Thursday prayer: Lord God You sent your Son into the world, And before his hour had come, He washed his disciples’ feet. You had given all things into his hands. He had come from you, and was going to you, And what did he do? He knelt down on the floor, And washed his friends’ feet. He was their teacher and their Lord, Yet he washed their feet. Lord God, help us learn from his example; Help us to do as he has done for us. The world will know we are his disciples if we love one another. Strengthen our hands and our wills for love and for service. Keep before our eyes the image of your Son, Who, being God, became a Servant for our sake. All glory be to him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen.

Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” On April 29 the we will begin the reconstruction at church. The first area that will be under construction is the fellowship hall and kitchen. This will last about 3-4 weeks. During that time, we will have NO access to the fellowship hall, the kitchen or the elevator on that floor. This will mean some changes to our schedule as well as some added difficulties for some in terms of accessing the church. We will be contacting those who have events and activities scheduled as soon as possible. We will keep you informed as to the status of the repairs as quickly as we can. Please continue to cover the church, its leadership and those who will be working to restore the church in your prayers. Pastor Victor Harner
